The Austin Innovations Tube Positioner Fixture is the original design, engineered from the ground up to solve one of the biggest challenges in tube fabrication…Securely holding tubing and keeping the weld joint rotating on a true centerline, even when welding bends, pie cuts, and complex assemblies.
Every feature of this fixture was developed through countless hours of real-world fabrication and production welding. We didn’t adapt an existing design, we created one that has become the gold standard for tube positioner fixtures.
Unlike a standard positioner vise, our fixture allows you to clamp tubing close to the weld joint while maintaining a true rotational axis. The result is smoother welds, less repositioning, faster production, and more consistent quality.

This fixture was 100% designed, engineered, and developed by Austin Innovations. Every component was created from scratch with one goal: building the strongest, simplest, and most reliable tube positioner fixture possible.
Simplicity That Lasts:
Our fixture compensates for bends by adjusting from the positioner side of the fixture. We have machined slots than can compensate for parts being up to 0.75” out of center allowing to clamp far into the bend of a part while still maintaining a true spin.
Our backing plate is precision machined from stainless steel, providing exceptional rigidity and long-term durability.
Laser-etched size markings from 1” through 4” make setup quick, while the slotted adjustment allows precise positioning for virtually any tubing diameter between those sizes.
Built to Take Abuse:
Our reinforced stop plate is engineered for strength. Rather than relying solely on mounting hardware, it is designed so clamping forces work against the structure itself, dramatically reducing the chance of flexing or bowing under heavy clamping
